16th Birthday Party Ideas

A person might celebrate a lot of birthdays in his lifetime but none is as special and delightful than the party that one celebrates on his 16th birthday.  A16th birthday is an occasion to celebrate. Often, that is done by having a party. It is very popular among the teenagers.

The parents should decorate the party area. It could be decorated with balloons with helium which are tied on their ends to seal them. They should tape strings of balloons on the backs of the chairs. They could also tie strings of four or five balloons to a Teddy bear (for girls) or a toy car (for boys) and place them in the center of the tables.  The entire hall where the birthday party is going to take place could be decorated with black and red tissue flowers of large sizes. They can be hung from the walls as well as attached to the different corners and sections of the room.

On 16th Birthday we can also organise a special barbecue. The barbecue should contain foods, snacks, chips and dips and make pitchers of non-alcoholic cocktails and punch. If you have open space available a backyard bonfire can be lit with marshmallows to roast, burgers, hot dogs and doughnuts.  Until the items are cooked all should sit around the bonfire and sing, dance or share the experiences of their lives. It would be really fun.

Instead of celebrating the birthday indoors you can choose for an adventure. It would make it one of your most memorable birthdays. To organise a trip you have to start saving some amount from your pocket money. If you are going with your family then money would not be a big problem but if you are going with friends you have to spend a little amount on them because it is your birthday party trip.

You can also have a have a water party in your garden. You have to arrange a sprinkler and water balloons and water pistols. In addition to that it should be a sunny day and you should wear your normal clothes. It would be really exciting and you would enjoy a lot.

A 16th birthday is a milestone and cause for a celebration. Planning a 16th birthday party is really difficult. It should be planned with caution because a little mistake can make the birthday boy/gal unhappy and you won’t like this.
