2nd Birthday Party Ideas

Hippie themed

It is a great idea for 2nd birthday party. You have to buy a huge Inflatable Ball that the kids could roll around and get inside.  The party should be located at a park with a "toddler" play structure so that the parents didn’t have to be directly with their children as they play. You have to buy a sidewalk chalk so the kids could color on the ground (easy clean up) and little tie-die beach balls. You could use different color table cloths, nothing really needed to match the cause you can go with the Tie-Die idea.
For food, you could hire a "taquero"- taco man- they would bring all their own plates, the food, salsa, toppings for the tacos and charge by the amount of people that were going to be at the party. It would be great relief because nobody has to cook in the party bags, you could also put toddler friendly candies, nothing too hard, and silly straws. Each kid gets to take home a little inflatable tie-die ball. It’s a great idea but you have to decide according to your budget.

                                                                    Activity tables

If you are inviting friends, meaning you have lots of little ones around.  Activity tables are a great 2nd birthday party idea. The idea is to cover a table with butcher paper, and then put play-doh out there. Kids are creative. We have seen that kids break things and try to find out what it is made of.
Kids like to create things. It gives them a chance to show their creativity. We can stuff the container and add it to their party-gift bag as a bonus. I had a party outdoors and wanted to keep the kids entertained, so I had a play-doh table and a coloring table, plus a potato sack race. This would keep the kids busy.

A simple Idea

You could go to the water park. Children love to play with water. You could swim with your child for whole day. You could ask the grandparents to look after the food. You could buy the food in the water park or you could bring the food from your home. It depends on your budget. At the end of the day you would find that that your children enjoyed a lot.
