1st Birthday Party Ideas

Select a 1st Birthday invitation from the available invitations at www.desievite.com  In the invitation message write “Our Little Baby is turning ONE!"  Send this invitation to your guests.

Cake: Order a Pumpkin cake. It should be decorated with silver foliage and frosted orange should be pricked at the edges. For other small children order bun cakes. Serve the cake with a nice flavour of ice-cream.

Activity: Give your guests a white piece of paper and a coloured pen. Tell them to write their hopes and dreams for the child's future like they hope that child would become a big actor or singer or a player. When all the guests are done collect all the paper and put it in a safe place. On the next birthday do the similar activity. The idea behind this is to open the box after a few years when the child attains some maturity.

Games: Without a couple of games celebrating your kid’s birthday party would be no fun. Hang a big balloon in the centre of the room. Blind fold the kids. Take them away to a different area in room and leave them. Then ask them to touch the balloon. Encourage the children. This would be great fun.

Recording: Record some of the activities during the birthday in your handy cam. You would be happy when you would see the recording after a couple of months.

Token of thanks: When the party is over and the guests start to leave give them a THANK YOU card.

Rose month: laugh love and say thank you

Rose month is celebrated in June. Rose is an elegant flower. The petals are crafted magnificently. Roses come in different colours. Some are red, some are white, some are pink and some are yellow. Different colours represent different feeling. Rose month is the perfect time of expressing your feeling and the best way to do is to give them a rose flower.

Do you want to bring laughter and happiness on somebody face.  Yellow rose is perfect for this occasion. Go to your friend who is under depression or is suffering from a setback, gift him a couple of yellow roses. This would bring laughter and happiness on his face.

Red is the colour of love but how to keep it flowing. Gift a red rose to your loved one in the morning. This would make him/her feel special and you would be also become a special person in that person eyes. This flower showed that person that you care for him/her.

Red is just not the expression of love. It is also used for inspiration. If a person in your background is hesitating to do something you could give him a red rose to inspire him. By gifting a red rose you are spreading a positive vibration. You are sending a message that hey folks you can do it. You have the courage. Take the first step.

Want to say Thank you to your family for what they did till today? There are many way of expressing like taking them for a visit to a nice place or taking them for dinner. A simple and most powerful way is to gift them a pink rose. You can go to the persons one by one, gift them a yellow rose and spend some quality time with them. It could be more effective.

Guru Purnima: marks the significance of Guru

Guru Purnima is celebrated to honour the Guru. It is jointly celebrated by the Hindus and Buddhists. It is observed on full moon also known as Purnima in the moth of May or June.Guru Purnima is celebrated by spiritual organizations all over India.Guru Purnima also known as Vyas Purnima.

The Buddhists celebrate it to commemorate Lord Buddha who gave His first sermon on this day at Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh, India. The Hindus celebrate it to remember the great story teller Vyasa who is also a most popular name in Guru-shishya tradition.

‘Guru’ in India, holds a supreme significance. The word “Guru” in Sanskrit is translated as “dispeller of darkness.”Guru forces the darkness of ignorance to go away and leads seekers on the path to enlightenment. He teaches us, he guides us, he protects us from all sorts of dangers and sins.

A real Guru not only points the direction to the goal but takes the consciousness of the surrendered disciple into his consciousness and makes the inflow of the Higher into the lower continuously, till the three consciousness of the Isvara, the Guru and the Atman of the disciple become one undifferentiated whole. (Extract from the preface of Prabodhasudhakara published by Samata Books.)Ramakrishna Paramahamsa says about true guru like this "He alone is the true teacher who is illumined by the light of true knowledge."It is very hard to find a true and real Guru in the modern day so be careful.Any person or incident that removes darkness and fills with light is a Guru.

On this special day all the diciple express their gratitude to their teachers. It is the best time to receive the grace of the guru.Guru Poornima is also considered an especially beneficial day to practice yogic sadhana and meditation.Disciples offer flowers and sweets to their ‘Gurus’ on this day.

Send an e-card from www.desievite.com . It is a user friendly website and is easy to use. We have a nice collection of Guru Poornima invitation and e-cards.

Father’s day: Parenthood

Becoming parents takes determination. When a child comes in the life of a parent, he/she has to understand that he automatically has given some responsibility. Parenthood is a difficult phase of life because when a child is born he is not mobile. He learns a lot from his parents.

Parenthood comes before the child is born. When a child is in mother’s tomb he also learns a little from there. It is the responsibility of the father to take care of the pregnant mother. He has to keep the mother tension free. He has to fulfil his wife every wish so that she is happy. He has to take care of her. He has to spend quality time with her. He has to tell her to keep good thoughts because thought have an effect on the child’s mind that is still to be born. It is not an easy task for a working father. He has to go out of the house to earn an income. He gets tired when he comes home. He has to manage many things in the house because the mother needs rest. He also has to take care of the mother. He has some additional responsibility. He has to balance his physical and social life.

Now the child is born. A father has to take care of the needs of the child. He has to sacrifice some of the habits. If he wakes up late in the morning he has to wake up early. He also has to take care of the child when the mother is busy with the household work. He has to maintain healthy surroundings so that the child cultivates go habit. If they have any misunderstands they have to solve them calmly because the child could interpret it wrongly. He should scold the child in a decent way. If the child demands anything which can’t be fulfilled then the father has to explain this with caution. This would have a good effect on the child. Father has to always spend quality time with the child because money can’t fulfil all the needs of a child. Money can’t buy love, affection and parenthood.

Parenthood is a difficult phase. It has to be driven with caution. One wrong step and the parenthood is in the mess.

Happy Father’s Day to all you studs out there who are blessed with a kid
