Father’s Day: A tough role to play in a family

Father’s Day this year will be celebrated on June 17th. This is definitely the day to express feelings towards our dads for all of their love and support, frequently supplemented by the giving those exclusive gifts.

It’s not an easy role. The father and the home should be the great source of character infection. Accordingly, a man’s children and his garden both reflect the amount of weeding done during the growing season. We should be grateful for the lessons he taught me and the memories we’ll always have of him. He continues to encourage us in all situations and has shown us how to be a good dad as well.

Father is the head of the family. He has to take very hard decisions but he is soft from inside. Sometimes he scold his children but it is for their own good. He works hard so that we get all the comforts of this world. Do we remember that he worked so hard so that we get our books, shoes, school uniform, school fees, tuition money and pocket money.  Whenever we failed he regained our confidence. Whenever we were ill he used to stay awake for all night. Think millions of times. Can we repay for these favours? Repayment would be very small in front of the favours done by him. He is an angel to us who has decedent from the heaven for us only. He is the love of our life. We have what’s most important in life. We should realise that. Our father is a precious gem. We are going to get the gem once in our life. We can only understand his role when one day we would be in his shoes.

This Father’s Day, show your Dad how much you love and respect him and how much you care for him. It's time to start thinking about how you will celebrate the fathers in your life. Give your good ol’ dad a big hug. Show him some love! He deserves it!

Don’t you forget to hug your dad, kiss and tell him that you love him like you do to your mother. Don't wait till it's too late to express your love to your father.
